I just stared up at the robot-or-what's face. I was shocked. But really, who expects a car to become a giant creature that probably came from another world?! My life was turning into a movie...
-Hey,-are you okay? -the radio pieced together, like the robot was asking it.
-Well, if we don't count that a car became a giant... exactly what are you? -I stood up in his palm, still looking into his... optics?
-Auto-nomous-robotic creature-from planet-Cybertron. Autobot- in short. My name is-Bumblebee. -he put me on his shoulder, and started walking out from the Lab.
-Hey, where are we going? -I asked Bumblebee, who transformed into a Camaro so I was in his driver seat. I got out before he could do anything.- Nope, you're not taking me anywhere! Why should I trust an alien?!
-Because you have-no other choice? - his engine let out a strange sound like he was laughing. I hate to admit, but he was right. I sighed and sat inside, crossing my arms.
-Okay, but tell me where are we going? If you do something I don't like, remember... -I punched the steering wheel, right on the symbol.- I may be smaller than you, but I can be a real pain in the ass if I want.
-If you say so. -he drove out. I sighed and leaned back into the seat, I quietly singed a song I heard in the radio a couple days ago.
"All I see is, shattered pieces
I can't keep it hidden like a secret
I can't look away
From all this pain in the world we made
Everyday you need a bulletproof vest
To save yourself from what you could never guess
Am I safe today?
When I step outside in the wars we wage"
-What are you doing-with your-voice? -Bumblebee asked, and I sighed uneasy.
-It's called singing. I know my voice is bad...
-No,- I like it.-Would you- continue? -he cut me off. My eyes widened, and I nodded.
"Like a hand grenade thrown in a hurricane
Spinning in chaos, trying to escape the flame
Yesterday is gone
Faster than the blast of a car bomb
And when the scars heal, the pain passes
As hope burns, we rise from the ashes
Darkness fades away
And the light shines on a brave new day"
-What are you...singing-about?-FRAG! -the car suddenly stopped, my head nearly bumping into the steering wheel.
-Bee, what the...? -I shut up when I saw the blue and black Bugatti in front of the Camaro.
-I already knew that you were lack of everything you need to be a leader, Bumblebee, but you told who you are to a human. Primus knows how you survived the war... -somebody said with a Japanese accent. I got out from the Chevrolet, and he transformed next to me.
-I'm better than you, asshole! -he hit the hood of the other car, and it's parts shifted, forming a samurai-like giant robot.
-Do you want me to prove you wrong? -the blue one put his sword to Bee's neck, little sparks falling where he touched the cables. The yellow one wanted to speak, but I cut him off.
-Uhm, boys? Would you talk like I'm here? Seeing you two killing each other can be a really interesting experience, but I would like to put it on another day. For now, who the heck are you? -I crossed my arms and stared ito the bright blue optics of the Bugatti-Autobot.
-Sorry, miss, but this scout was getting on my nerves. My name is Drift, and may I get yours?
-Avery. -I smiled at Drift. He put his digits on the ground in front of me, and I stepped in. He raised me into his eye level.
-It's nice to meet you Avery. I hope Bumblebee didn't annoyed you too much. -I smirked at the samurai's words, and looked at Bee over my shoulder.
-Well... he wasn't that bad...
-Really? -the scout walked to Drift, and put his servos on his hips.
-Oh come on Bee... you are not acting like a child, aren't you? -I giggled, as he turned his back to me.
-I am-definitely-not. -he growled. I jumped out of Drift's palm, falling a couple meters. I walked to the yellow bot's legs, putting my hand on his plating.
-Come on Bee, you know I didn't mean that. You wanted to take me somewhere in the first place... - he looked down at me, and sighed. He stepped back and transformed back into his car mode, Drift doing the same. Now I could see that the samurai was a 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. I sat in the Camaro, the seat belts wrapping around me tightly. I smiled and leaned back into the seat, closing my eyes. The engine softly rumbled and the Chevrolet started driving into the near city, Drift right after him.
-Hey,-Avery? -the radio pieced together, and I looked up at the steering wheel.
-Yeah?
-When you were-singing...-what was it-about?
-Oh... Rise? It's about the World War. I didn't live yet when it happened, but from what I've heard... -I shifted uneasy.- It must have been really bad. -I looked out of the window, staring into the horizon. We stayed silent for a couple of minutes. When I got bored, I started gently rubbing the Autobot insignia on the steering wheel. Bee let out a purr like sound, and I laughed. After a while, the car stopped.
-We are here-darling. -that nickname. Only he could get away with that. I got out of the car, recognising where we were. And how dark outside it was.
-Bee, how did you know where I live? -I smiled at the yellow car, my hand still on his door, so I felt him heat up.
-I-just searched-the Internet.-It was-really nothing. -he transformed and bowed down, his lip compartments kissing my cheeks. I blushed, just realising how close I grew to the giant alien-robot.
-Thanks Bumblebee. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow? -I looked into his bright blue optics.
-I'll- come and-take you to the-others,-'kay? -I nodded and kissed his facial plates, feeling them heat up.
-'kay. Bye Bee! -I ran into the house, closing the door. I leaned to the wall, smiling. Guess tomorrow will be the best day of my life.
Here's the link to the song (Rise from Skillet). I hope you enjoyed this chapter :) Bye guys! And the gif, la samurai xD
